I began writing this book with the intention of providing a quick guide to get people started toward good health. As I began to put together various bits of material, I suddenly realized that my real intention was not to provide a quick fi x for health, but to lay a stepping stone for the path to wellness. I realize there are unexpected twists and turns along this wonderful path of life, and every day is a new opportunity to make different choices depending on our moods, energy, or state of being. The journey to health is one of the greatest adventures you will ever embark on— it goes beyond the physical and into every aspect of your life. My true love has always been the process of helping people open doors to their own truth, and watching the transformations. Over the years, it is the very thing that motivates me to strive for more and continue creating.
When I envision the potential for optimum health across the world, and the undiscovered energy and youth we all want for ourselves, I smile knowing you have opened your mind and heart to your full potential. I fi nd joy in knowing that if you have indeed followed the steps to getting Naked, that then you are feeling lighter, brighter, and more amazing than ever before. I know you are completely blown away by your good health, beautiful skin, and sexy body that has been transforming before your eyes over the past few weeks. I want to encourage you to keep moving in this positive direction and never look back!
I will constantly be laying new stepping stones of information. I will continue creating and sharing new ways of preparing fun dishes that taste great and keep you alive and vibrant, if you promise to keep eating the foods that nourish you. My sister and niece heard you speak about 3 weeks ago near their home in the Marin area. Although my sister and I have been attuned to a healthier diet and lifestyle for many years, and have embraced the benefits of raw foods, it was your talk that set my sister and niece on a full-fledged 100% raw regime. The results have been astounding for them both. Clear skin for my niece, amazing energy, cravings for raw foods, etc..
It was the pictures and discussion of your "sweets", however, that peaked my husband's interest in your book and recipes. He is a Standard American Diet eater......a meat and potatoes type of guy, who has not been open to join me in a healthier eating plan.He has told me now numerous times he'd like to try your eating plan! I would love for him to hear you talk so when we start, he will embrace the plan in a more serious fashion, as I am ready to go!!
My question: Would you come to the Danville/Alamo area to talk with us here about your plan? We could spread the word among my circles of friends! The Whole Foods in San Ramon or Walnut Creek would be fantastic or even the Draeger's Market in Danville to host you! I wold love to hear if that is a possibility!
Diana, I admire you, I thank you (most especially for the curry and the date almond milkshakes!) - and the zucchini hummus has won me kudos at 3 parties so far! I always give you the credit, and feel compelled to pass on the "good word".
I, admittedly, do not look as great as you do, but have lost a solid 10, feel better and my skin has never been better (and I'm 41!).
My husband is also delighted, as he is kind of a health nut and loves that it all tastes so good!
Diana, We had seen your episode on View from the Bay back in June. My 15 yr. old daughter was doing her homework at the table and thought this might be interesting to do. So as pro active as I am with her in health and exercise, I purchased the book.
The main reason we thought it would be a great idea for us both to do is because my daughter, Nicole has been battling with food allergies since she was about 2 years old. It comes and goes, but when it evolves its bad & painful. Nicole also gets really bad acid reflux, this last time it was for 3 days and we had to leave a volleyball tournament early. We both went on your raw food way of eating plan, Nicole lost 14 pounds and I lost a good amount too. I don't know how to thank you for making her more comfortable and with no more pain. I think it will be better for all her organs for the rest of her life too. My concern with her allergies, is that one day it could turn into esophagus cancer. Nicole is a tall girl, 5\'10". So her 14-20 pounds was really hidden. She looks amazing & is loving herself and her body! So important for a girl & a teenager. This will also help her jump higher for volleyball too and by the way, Nicole won 1st place in the national junior championships this last month for volleyball!
I have read many health books in the last 15 years or so, Get Naked fast is a great plan for life and has so many benefits in all different areas.
My Dad got on the plan, he picked up the book and started reading it. He lost 8 pounds already. And he is a meat and potatoes guy, but has type 11 diabetes. We all love the date smoothie, its a must have every morning. And love the lentil tostadas & portabella Fajitas. Can't wait for more recipes. And the brownies are to die for!

Hi Diana, I met you with my two boys (Elijah & Gabriel) last Monday, President‘s Day, at Whole Foods in Potrero Hill. The orange/coconut frozen blend was yummy and I was captivated by the freshness of what you have been making at your demos lately. So, I bought your book as you may remember and have not put it down since last week. I want to let you know I have made the almond butter with dates on mana bread and that was too die for. I am so happy to be introduced to mana bread – much better tasting than the food for life breads in my opinion. I also made the butternut squash with ghee and my husband, Elijah, and our friend enjoyed it very much! So easy, so tasty. And Elijah, the older one, also loved the Almond Shake (in this case I used Pacific almond milk until I get around to making nut milks fresh). Oh, and I made the buckwheat pancakes too. So, proof is in the pudding, your book has been a hit in our home so far.
I am a colleague of someone who purchased your book at Whole Foods. This guy is a tough task master (he really takes us to task during our afternoon boot camps!), we all love him very much. In recent days, his stature has been elevated even higher, if you can believe it, ALL thanks to your fantastic smoothies and shakes recipes!! He has treated us to an unbelievable Almond Shake and a very creative (I never thought blending spinach, bananas and apples can have such great results!), healthy and delicious Popeye‘s Passion smoothie. Both were awesome and I definitely look forward to trying more of your recipes. Even my 5 year old daughter now asks me when I will make the Popeye smoothie again at home :-) Keep up the great work.
