It take some thinking on what to eat when one eliminates these foods. Reading labels last night at the grocery store realized most of the soups have wheat in them. Home made is the easiest and healthy way for me as it is easier as I know what is going into the dish.

I have been trying the low-fat-raw-vegan diet for some years now - with NO success. I was always tired, I could not lose any weight, I was always hungry from the fruit, I felt horrible and now I got the answer: I am HYPOTHYROID (sub-clinical so all the tests and not-so-smart Doctors missed it) for my whole life and thanks to this I nearly totally blew my adrenals. So YES I believe in raw-food and YES I can't wait to get back to the low-fat-raw-vegan lifestyle, BUT I now do have to take low doses of cortisol for some time and I do have to take natural thyroid extract for probably my whole life. In the meantime FRUIT is not doing me any good and I totally have to stick with vegetables. Maybe this might be of help to some other people who do not understand why raw-food is NOT doing that miracle to them that it should do. Low thyroid and adrenal problems will kill of your metabolism, your digestion, your energy lever, your immune system, your depression will be off the roof, sex drive will be an unknown word.....etc. etc. There is a thyroid scandal and emergency out there. Inform yourself with books like "stop the thyroid madness" or "your thyroid and how to keep it healthy" or "how to survive the thyroid scandal" .......and solve the problem of feeling miserable for your whole life - once and for all!!!
