You’re right — it’s good old water! But I’m going to do you one better.

With one easy step?

That step is INFUSED WATER. Just add sliced fruits or vegetables to a big container of water and sip all throughout the day. You’ll find yourself more energetic, healthier, possibly thinner, and more beautiful. All of the following varieties will boost your metabolism.

Citrus-fruit water

Citrus-mint infused water.

Add some citrus to your water and speed up your fat-burning machine.  Lemons, limes, and oranges are a great source of vitamin C. The citrus-infused water goes directly into your system and burns fat on a cellular level. Loading up on vitamin C  helps the metabolic process of transporting fatty acids within the cell and mobilizing them to be used as an energy source.
Directions: Add 3–4 thin slices of lemon, lime,  and/or orange to your large container of water to get that boost of vitamin C and help use fat as energy.

Cucumber water

Flush out  and purify your system and your metabolism by sipping glasses of cucumber water. Get your metabolism revved up with the natural diuretic effects of cucumber while boosting your potassium and vitamins A and C.
Directions: Add 6–8 slices of cucumber to a pitcher of water.  Refill your glass throughout the day for a cool, refreshing drink.

Cayenne pepper water

Add a little spice to your life. Studies show that the capsaicin found in cayenne pepper can boost your metabolism shortly after ingesting it, which makes you feel fuller. A dash added to any infused water will give you a double boost. Add it to citrus water, cucumber water, or get creative and make strawberry mint water, mango parsley water, or anything that excites your taste buds and ignites your metabolism.
Directions: Add a dash (about 1/4 teaspoon) of cayenne pepper to your infused water and enjoy the spicy zip it adds.
